Check-in is from 3:00 PM, and check-out is before 11:00 AM.
If possible, we're happy to accommodate an early check-in or late check-out. Please contact us in advance to check availability.
How far is Alisio from Curaçao International Airport?
Alisio is conveniently located approximately 20 minutes from Curaçao International Airport (CUR).
Can airport transfers be arranged?
Yes. We are happy to arrange reliable airport transfers for both your arrival and departure. Simply share your flight details with us before your trip.
Can groceries be arranged before arrival?
Yes. If you'd like to start your holiday without visiting the supermarket first, we can arrange for groceries to be delivered and waiting for you when you arrive.
Is a rental car recommended?
Yes. Although Jan Thiel offers many beaches, restaurants and shops nearby, we recommend renting a car to explore the island at your own pace.

Is parking available?
Yes. Free private parking is available within the gated resort.
Is Tropicana Resort secure?
Yes. Alisio is located within Tropicana Resort, a gated community with tropical gardens, a shared swimming pool and private parking.
Are bed linen and towels provided?
Yes. Bed linen, bath towels, hand towels and beach towels are provided for every guest.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the penthouse.
Are international TV channels available?
Yes. The apartment is equipped with a Smart TV offering a wide range of international television channels.
Is there air conditioning?
Yes. All three bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning.
The living area benefits from the refreshing Caribbean trade winds, keeping the apartment naturally comfortable throughout the day.
Is tap water safe to drink?
Yes. Curaçao's tap water is produced through seawater desalination and is perfectly safe to drink.
Is the kitchen fully equipped?
Yes. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need during your stay, including a Nespresso coffee machine, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, kettle, toaster and all essential cookware and kitchen utensils.
Is the penthouse suitable for children?
Yes. Families are very welcome.
A baby cot and high chair are available upon request.
Are water and electricity included?
To help preserve Curaçao's valuable natural resources, water and electricity are charged separately based on actual consumption. Meter readings are taken upon arrival and departure.
How close is Jan Thiel Beach?
Jan Thiel Beach is just a 3 minute drive or approximately 15 minutes on foot from Alisio.
Which supermarkets are nearby?
Nearby supermarkets include Van den Tweel, Vreugdenhil and Centrum Supermarket Mahaai.
Can you recommend restaurants and activities?
Absolutely. We've created our own Curaçao Guide featuring our favourite beaches, restaurants, snorkelling spots, day trips and hidden gems. We're also happy to share personal recommendations during your stay.
Who can we contact during our stay?
Our trusted local host will personally welcome you at check-in and will remain available throughout your stay should you have any questions or require assistance.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not permitted inside the penthouse. You are welcome to smoke on the terrace.
Are parties or events allowed?
No. To ensure a peaceful stay for all guests and residents, parties and events are not permitted.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted.
